I guess if you want something, you have to put it to the universe first.

Have you ever seen the movie Practical Magic? One of the witches casts a spell, a love spell for a man who does not exist. Because if her true love doesn’t exist, then how can she ever fall in love and be hurt?

Let’s try that, shall we?

Wanted: One man.

Not to fill my husband’s shoes, because I am sure that role died with him.

But a man. Preferably one who is tall and strong, with nice eyes and a kind smile. One who is funny and makes me laugh, makes me see another side of life, gives me a fresh perspective. One who is tough and strong and can make me feels taken care of, but can talk about things and be soft when they need to.

Someone who is emotionally strong and stable, and financially so too. Someone who’s heart is in the right place.

Someone who is nice to my children, and understands that they will always, always come first.

Someone to dream with. Someone to watch movies with. Someone to laugh with. Someone to cry with.

Someone who thinks I'm pretty, who doesn't mind that I talk too much and love to sleep.

Someone who can make me laugh, just with the tone in their voice.

Someone who gives me butterflies; and makes the world a better place to be. Surely that’s not so much to ask for, is it?
